Fear No More
As I stated in the first fear article, what you put out to the Universe you get back. Fear is the primary reason people do not get what they want out of life or experience true happiness and balance. Most of the time, especially in matters of the heart, one's fear of an unsuccessful past cycle re-surfacing is the controlling factor where their decision making for a future prospect is concerned.
It really doesn't matter which area in your life seems to be unfulfilled. Alleviating fear is the only way you will reach that level of strength needed to progress to the next level and find the door to true balance. In this article Spirit and I will show you how to recognize fear via dreams, visuals, decisions and physical signs. We'll also be discussing the many ways you can replace fear with personal power and live a thoroughly abundant lifestyle.
RECOGNIZING FEAR
Oftentimes it's difficult to recognize a fearful pattern when it comes to emotionally pressing issues or when one has lived in this unhealthy pattern for several years. It's hard to know when you've broken the cycle when you don't even attempt live outside the confining bubble. Our spiritual family is always here to help us out even when we don't think we need their assistance. Spirit and your Higher Self will come through with messages via dreams, personal epiphanies and signs.
DREAMS
The Prophetic Astral Projection
A good example of a PAP is this:
I had a dream that I was in a public place with people I knew in High School. I was engrossed in deep conversation, but I couldn't remember what was said. These weren't people I had issues with, however, the important part of the message was that I still had an problem with someone from that time lingering that needed to be extinguished.
The next day I was at a bridal shop trying on bridesmaids dresses with a friend when a blast from my past showed up. It was my ex-best friend who had cheated on me with my boyfriend from High School. I swear I had forgiven them both and let the whole thing go, however, when I recognized her I couldn't leave the store fast enough without her realizing I was present. When I returned home I had a personal epiphany: "Oh my God! I'm still holding some resentment and anger inside from all those years ago!" Only then did I realize what the dream was trying to show me.
Past Connection Memory
The purpose in having a PCM is to get rid of the past in order for the doors for your future to be accessible. If the issues are not handled properly or blatantly ignored, one may experience this type of dream on the recurring level until the issue has dissolved and the lesson is learned.
For example:
A man I used to dwell on showed up in my dreams unexpectedly one night. He appeared with another woman who looked just like me, but I knew it wasn't. He was having an intimate dinner with this person but was staring at me from afar. The next day I realized that since I never had any closure on my situation I was fearing that he wasn't in love with me anymore and that he had moved on, but at the same time, I understood that I had to acknowledge that fear before ANYTHING could possibly happen between myself and another man again. The fear of being left alone by a man for another woman had to be squashed.
Random Symbol Syndrome
*Being chased by a killer, monster or anything you feel is harmful
*Falling from a tall building without a net to save you
*Standing in an area where the walls are closing in
*Physical or emotional abuse
*Drowning in a lake
*Anything that appears to feel like you aren't in control
There are a lot of simple symbolic dreams that are not fear-based and can be prophetic. Some examples would be, giving birth, dying and driving. These are all symbols for positive change and growth.
Personal Epiphanies
There are a lot of things we feel should not be over-analyzed or even attempted to pick apart, but when it comes to fear I truly believe it's imperative to dissect it in order to get to the root of the issue, remove it and break the cycle. Once you get to the bottom or underlying issue, it's a great deal easier to find the resolution.
For example:
I was in a 2-week funk and couldn't figure out why. When I finally realized there was a problem and I wasn't "just relaxing" or "taking a break", I called a friend of mine. She couldn't figure it out either, but what I did realize while talking with her was that I had a fear of leaving my apartment for some unknown reason. Of course, I had to figure out why and fix the issue immediately since I am very open to change and was not about to become a residential hermit.
A couple of days after the conversation and wracking my brain a million times I just said, "God, whatever the answer is I'm very open and willing to correct the problem. I'm letting this go so just tell me when the time is right". A few days later I was preparing to go shopping for a new lamp and was trying to find something to wear. It was really hot out but I only had clothes that were too big or too small so I ended up wearing jeans, boots and a t-shirt.
I got to the store and began shopping for my lamp, but I didn't end up buying one. I purchased some new clothes instead. When I returned home, I walked into my bedroom to find every single article of clothing I owned in a heap on the floor. Then it hit me, "Oh my God! The reason I'm not wanting to go anywhere is because I don't have anything that fits or anything that I like to wear"! How silly. The resolution to my fear was clothes shopping, but hey, all I had to do was ask for help and I got it in a personal epiphany.
Of course, not ALL the answers to our pressing issues are found in spending outrageous amounts of money, but my point was that once I found the root of the problem, I was able to alleviate my fear of leaving my apartment. When we have personal epiphanies, it's easier to accept what is, what should be and changing our situation for ourselves. As humans we tend to rebel change when it's being forced down our throats by outside influences. I fully embrace the personal epiphany. I tend to learn more and take care of issues quicker that way.
Physical Signs
Physical signs are given to us just so we can finally be aware of a fear or an issue of any kind. Sometimes they even present us with simple resolutions followed up by an epiphany. Not everyone is open enough to recognize the signs when they occur, but if you put yourself in that mode, rest assured you will start.
Replacing Fear With Personal Power
I understand just as well as anyone out there that change can be scary, especially when you don't know what lies ahead. Like I said in the first article, my leaving a stable job for something that didn't guarantee security was a struggle, but I DID get passed it and embraced every single obstacle that came up. I transformed fearful energy into positive manifesting and I feel as though I'm a success story.
Anyone can do this! The first step in alleviating fear is to change your thought process. Below are some examples:
* Speaking into being positive goals and having the belief that it's possible
How to keep the doors of a prosperous future open, without fear
Anytime we're in transition to a major life change many of our past fears, insecurities or devastating events may float to the surface and need to be acknowledged. This is the time to analyze the situations and find our own closure so we may be allowed the key to the new door. Here is the simplified process:
1. TRULY forgive those who have made you feel inadequate in the situation
