In many cases you've called a psychic who communicates with Spirit Guides. First of all, what is Spirit? The dictonary would indicated Spirit as follows:

spir·it (n).
1. The vital principle or animating force within living beings.
2. Incorporeal consciousness.
3. The soul, considered as departing from the body of a person at death.

We'll just go with #3.

Personal Spirit Guides are souls who you have chosen, before you were born, to guide you throughout your lifetime. They speak to us through our gut instincts, intuition, psychic ability and keep us grounded so that we may follow the blueprint (path) we constructed for our new life.

Guides are sexless, meaning that they aren't male nor female entities. They may, however, appear to be either sex when showing themselves to us clairvoyantly. Most guides have experienced lifetimes here on Earth, but others have not. For the untrained eye, a Spirit from God would appear as a quick flash of white or pastel colored light. The darker entities would appear as either black or gray. Depending on how fine tuned your abilities are to see Spirit, they may appear as human beings. I see them as both.

A lot of people confuse guides with Angels. Angels are in a completely different realm. Guides are more Earth-bound spirits whereas Angels only leave the Other Side on rare occasion. Those who say they channel Angels are usually channeling Spirit Guides. The difference is:

* Angels are not spiritually contracted to each individual, but guides are.
* Spirit Guides have experienced many lives in the physical world and Angels never incarnate.
* Angels come through universally, meaning that they on an "as needed" basis ie: Guardian Angels.
* Spirit Guides can come through whenever they want.

Family Guides
There are times when family members who’ve crossed over in this lifetime can become a guide. Usually this happens when a major negative even occurs that the spirit needs closure on. Sometimes that spirit will try to emphasize action on a family member still living or guide someone in a specific direction. Family guides can also be spiritually contracted for a particular timeline in one’s life. For example: That spirit may have been meant to cross over in the year 1981 so that they can become a guide for you in the year 2001.

Animals and Guides
You wouldn’t believe how in tune animals are with Spirit, especially cats. This is another form of the psychic phenomena called "Anpsi". Anspi is most commonly known as animal ESP. Skeptical zoologists and animal psychologists argue that no such phenomena can be proven. Obviously, if you haven’t SEEN your pet react to such extroadinary beings then you wouldn’t believe it. The animal connection with the universe is slightly different than humans. They tap into the Earth’s magnetic field and their keen senses are at a higher vibrational level naturally. Whereas us humans have to physically train to raise our vibrations higher, even though our senses do exist naturally. Animals do not have to tweak their abilities as it always remains a constant in their daily lives. They see and hear spirits clearly, as though they’re human beings.

A good example of Anpsi would be the time I saw my cats playing with my guides. I was sitting at the computer, re-designing my website and couldn’t concentrate. I spun around to see Angelica (my 2-month old) jumping and swatting at "nothing" in mid-air while Carma (my 1 and 1/2 year old) watched on with her head raised toward the ceiling. I tuned in and saw 4 spirits dancing around Angelica with something that looked like the "cat fishing pole" we usually play with. I guess they were trying to keep my babies occupied while I finished working, hehe.

By watching my cats, I can tell when a spirit has entered my home before I psychically tune in. My cats start racing around my place as though someone lit a match under their butts. As soon as it happens, I raise my vibrational level to see who has showed up. This usually occurs when I’m on the phone with a client and there’s more than one spirit in the room.

Questioning Spirit
When giving a reading, you'll hear me indicate that I need specific questions for Spirit to answer. The reason why is that Spirit is so very litteral. I'll give you some examples. I was driving home from work one day and ready to turn down my street. Suddenly I heard my guides say, "Mystical Store". So happy to have finally heard something substantial from them, I made my way to the store. It was 5:30pm at that time and the stores closes at 7pm. I pull up only to find that it was closed. I was FURIOUS!! I put my car in park, turned my head to the right and belted out, "Why the hell did you take me all the way over here for no reason?". In response I heard, "We didn't say it would be open". I was so angry. Imagine me sitting in my car yelling at virtually NO ONE while other people are coming out into the parking lot staring me down.

The lesson here was that when I heard them say "Mystical Store" I should've asked specific questions such as "Why do I need to go there" and "Should I go right now or another time"?

As noted from the book, "The Other Side And Back" by Sylvia Browne, Sylvia asked her guide Francine, "Can you describe yourself"? The answer she got was an unequivocal, "yes". What she really wanted was her guide to give a vivid description so she re-worded her question to, "Will you describe yourself for me please"? With that, Francine went into detail of what her appearance was in her only lifetime here on Earth.

The above is a prime example of how all Spirit Guides respond to vague questions. In my listings I let you know ahead of time to have your specific questions ready. If they're not specific enough, a lot of times Spirit will give a "yes" and a "no" answer and sometimes they don't answer at all. Most of the time clients aren't very specific, so I re-word them myself.

The Persona of Spirit
Those who have been interested in learning more about Spirit Guides often ask the question, "Do they have personalities"? Most psychics would agree that no, they don't, but I disagree. My belief is that our Spirit Guides resemble ourselves, after all, we chose them; but not all do. Mine for instance are very sarcastic and snooty (hehe sorry guys, you know I had to). Knowing I was blessed with these spiritual gifts, they assume that I should just KNOW. *Shakes Head*. I'm human dammit, just like everyone else!! I feel as though mine get annoyed easily but there are plenty of times when they're just as caring as everyone else's. Our guides go everywhere we go, with the exception when they aren't needed at that moment. That reminds me of the time when my guides came to one of my advisors in her car and followed her in the bathroom prior to me getting a reading. Those guys!!

It’s Just The Funny Things They Do
During readings I have learned that the guides can be quite the little comedians. Often there are times when I tell a client, "OMG your guides are so kooky!" I've seen them tap dancing, doing somersaults, playing cards, shaking their bon bon's and even rolling their eyes. Most of the time it's just to answer the client in a more creative way so that we understand their point. I've also heard them yell, laugh and sing songs. I've had guides show me strange visuals during my readings. Some of a sexual nature and body parts. I've seen cartoons such as "Garfield" and "Bugs Bunny". I've seen classic television shows/movies such as "The Little Rascals" and "The Wizard Of OZ". Half the time I can't believe what I'm seeing and it's hard to convey that to the client. Especially since those visuals are mostly that of a symbolic nature and I have to figure it out first. I've had poetic guides and more! There's just no telling what they'll do in a reading to get their message across, so be prepared. I get the weird stuff.

How Many Guides Do We Have?
For the most part, I've only seen 2 Personal Spirit Guides per client. There are times when I see more. Our guides often bring in Spiritual Helpers such as other guides and entities depending on what our personal situation is. There are guides who come work with us who have specific abilities such as spiritual growth, anxiety control, dwelling and love. For the most part, it's to our guide's discretion what entities are let in on our paths, but then again, we have the power of choice to accept or discard the feelings they convey to us whether or not they're dark or white.

Dark Entities
The dark side is a very confusing subject for most people. Dark entities can disguise themselves as white entities to trick us, giving us false information. Their main objective in life and in death is to control and satisfy themselves, and themselves alone. Obviously if you're questioning whether or not you're a dark entity, you wouldn't be reading this now, so don't even think twice. We're protected for the most part, but the power of prayer is more of a security blanket. You can ALWAYS pray dark and gray entities out as I do. Yes you have the power of choice to allow such entities in your spirit, but I would never recommend that unless you're willing to pay the price. While getting a reading from me, rest assured I NEVER allow dark or gray entities in so your information will not be altered.

Names
Yes guides have names. Sometimes they're simple, a lot of times they are not. I re-named mine since their names are long. When asking a psychic for your guides' names, please remember that we may or may not be able to get them clearly depending on how complex they are. We may just give you what they sound like to us.

Predictions With Spirit
Readings connecting with your Personal Spirit Guides are the closest you can get to accurate . They know you. Keep in mind that nothing or no one is 100% accurate except for God. For example, I was asking my guides questions one day regarding a touchy issue. I had already prayed the negativity out, but still asked them for confirmation. They gave me a "no" answer and settled my fear, but in essence, what ended up happening was the opposite. I was upset and called one of my advisors for clarification. Did I hear them wrong? The answer was no, I didn't hear them wrong. I learned a very valuable lesson that day. Spirit can't control & predict EVERYTHING. They can't even hear our prayers since that's between us and God. Spirit can't predict everything 100% because like I said, they're not God and there are many different factors that come into play such as free-will. Even though I had prayed that specific issue out, my fear of it surpassed prayer. Fear equals failure and I failed to go with my gut instincts. I learned that Spirit had already told me what to do and I ignored them. I couldn't let go of the issue, therefore failing to trust in the universe and my higher power.

Spirit Guides Do NOT Make Things Happen
Although guides do give accurate details during a reading, they do not have the power to change a situation or make an event come to fruition. Clients are forever imploring me to tell their guides they want "this or that". First of all, your guides just heard what you said and second, it’s not their job to give you things or make you happy. Sometimes their job is to just be silent and not direct you at all! This is why I don’t use guides all the time during my readings. For first-time clients I do, but thereafter the guides don’t always give me the information. I am not just a medium. I’m psychic too, ya know. They will come through when they have something important to contribute . When guides aren’t directing you, that means it’s time to utilize your own intuition. Just because you’re not hearing them does not mean they aren’t with you. This happens most often while in a transitional phase.
