A medium is someone who can receive messages from spirits who have crossed over and convey them to another person. To be frank, a medium is someone who talks to dead people. Psychics who communicate with Spirit Guides, but choose to not contact other deceased entities are still considered to be mediums.

How Is The Message Received?
The Spirit World is in another dimension not here in the physical world. Sometimes spirits are earthbound, meaning that their messages come through more easily than spirits on a higher level at the Other Side. I receive messages from spirit in many different ways just like a normal psychic reading. Most of the time I hear words or short phrases that help the client understand who I'm connecting to from the spirit who's crossed over. A lot of times the entire message isn't too clear or is broken up so the client's Spirit Guides may also take part in assisting, this doesn't happen too often though. The spirit shows me images to convey their message and they'll also give me a feeling of what they're trying to acknowledge.

Why Do Spirits Come Through?
Most of the time, spirits come through for a client if that person is having trouble dealing with the death of their loved one or just to simply say, "I'm here, I'm ok and I'm always with you". There have been numerous times I've had a spirit come through to ask for forgivness from their loved one still here in the physical world. Never have I had a spirit come through for material reasons such as explaining why their loved one didn't get their part of the inheritance or where the $5,000 ring can be found. Spirits who've crossed over don't keep issues with their loved ones experienced when they were in the physical world after they've crossed over. This means that if Daughter Jane Doe and Papa Don Juan never got along, Papa Don Juan isn't still pissed off. Papa Don Juan is coming through to say 'I Love You' and/or 'I'm Sorry'.

Why Would Anyone Want To Communicate With Their Deceased Loved One?
Like I stated above, there are a lot of instances when a client in the physical world is still grieving over the loss of a loved one. Some clients often say, "I never told him/her I loved them, now it's too late". It's never too late. More often than not, clients wish to speak to a deceased loved one to re-gain their sense of self and to move on with their lives.

How Do I Know You're REALLY Connecting With My Loved One?
While getting a mediumistic reading from me I always get details from the spirit who's crossed over. I get the name of the spirit who has crossed, descriptions of the spirit while they were here in the physical world, names of people connected to that spirit, cause(s) of death, things they liked doing and other details. Most of the time, I'm only getting SOME of the details stated above and on rare occasion I get most the details stated above. It just depends on how and what that spirit communicates to me. While getting this type of reading, please remember to write things down as you may not understand every single message that comes through at that particular time. You may have to ask someone else who is connected to the spirit who comes through.

Is There A Guarantee You Will Connect With The Person I Want?
The answer is NO. If you get a reading and are wishing to speak to Daddy Don Juan, you may get Uncle George Brown. That doesn't mean that Daddy Don Juan doesn't love you or want to come through, he just might not be available for consultation. The Other Side is much like life here, except happy and free of worry. Daddy Don Juan may be learning to play the piano at that particular time you call upon him. A lot of times you DO get who you're wanting to connect with, but there are other times you don't and you get another spirit you either didn't know well or has a 3rd, 4th or 5th party connection to you. There will be times when spirit doesn't come through at all. Spirit comes through only when they want to.

Psychic Readings and the Other Side
I've done many readings regarding other issues and a spirit tries to come through. Usually when this happens I have to allow the messages in and cut the client off. If you are Jane Doe asking about John Doe and Daddy Don Juan comes through, obviously spirit wants you to acknowledge Daddy Don Juan at that time. A lot of times the spirit's energy is so strong that I can't get passed them to continue on with the original reading. I have also had readings where the client has called me many times before regarding a specific subject and there just isn't anything new to tell them. Sometimes to give the client something new, spirits come through for them. I have to acknowledge it then I can move on so please do not be offended or think I'm being rude. I just have to take care of all business spirit gives me.
