Seeing Is Believing...Or Is It?

I'm sure you've heard the saying, "Seeing is believing". Most people have, but is it the truth? Not in cases of the "dweller with low self-esteem".

In my line of work, seeing is believing would be the only way to prove my worth in the field of Spiritual Advisors. So after I giive a reading to someone, the first thing they're thinking is "I'll believe in her after her predictions come to pass", even if I nail personal details. After reading "What's Dwelling Got To Do With It", how can they say that? Well, it's easy since the only thing people care about is the subject at hand, not the big picture.

The one aspect I'd like to get across to my clients is that you can't count on your advisor to make things happen for you, it's not our job. There are so many things that come into play where predicitons are concerned. Remember your free will aka power of choice. Part of that free will would include your belief system.

Before things happen in your life, you have to believe it's possible. If you don't, then you'll be completely disappointed. Keeping a positive attitude is the beginning to rolling down your path and making decisions best suited for you. Those who are using the terms "can't", "if only", "impossible" and "never" come across as depressing. No one wants to be around someone like that, especially a loved one you're wanting to reconcile with. Have you ever found yourself in a series of negetivity you just couldn't break out of? By dwelling and being depressed about all the negetive aspects of your life, you're drawing it towards you in the worst way. If you continue to believe that everything happens "just to you because you suck" then that negetivity will just return as a vicious cycle that doesn't end until YOU make it end.

The best way to make positive things happen is to re-evaluate your confidence level. Self-confidence is the number one aspect most people lack. I know, I've been there plenty of times myself. Try this out for size. Below are some basic questions to ask yourself in re-evaluating your confidence level:

Am I liked by a lot of people? If the answer is yes, write down why.
If the answer is no, do the same then ask yourself if it's just you or did someone else put that in your head.

Am I successful in everything I do? If the answer is yes, write down why.
If the answer is no, write down why then ask yourself what the term "success" means to you.

Do I have future goals I'd like to fulfill? If the answer is yes, write down what they are and why you want them.
If the answer is no, write down why you feel you've completed all your goals and/or why you feel you don't want anything for the future.

Am I satisfied with the way I look? If the answer is yes, write down why.
If the answer is no, write down the things you'd like to change and why. You also need to know that if you're wanting to change the way you look for someone else, then it's time to re-evaluate the people you have in your life.

Do I believe I can do anything I set my mind to? If the answer is yes, then continue jotting down future goals.
If the answer is no, ask yourself what's holding you back and why you feel this way. 9 times out of 10 it's because there's an outside influence telling you things that aren't true about yourself.

Self-Confidence is imperative to cleaning up your act. Truly believing that anything is possible if you just put your mind to it will open more doors than you expect. Know what you want out of life. If you don't, you need to do some soul searching to find out. You need to know what you want so Spirit can help. Doing your part, believing in yourself and letting go, then believing the universe will do theirs will keep the doors wide open for growth and change for the better. So the bottom line is "Believing Is Seeing" and nothing in your life will seem right until you do.
